Priorities
These priorities represent our commitment to ensuring a bright future for the next generation of Texans. Together, we can protect and strengthen Texas for its youngest and most vulnerable citizens.
Protecting children from sexualization and exploitation
- Advocating for policies that prevent exposing minors to sexually explicit materials in schools, public libraries, and public spaces including social media and the Internet
- Advocating for stronger deterrents against children being exploited in media, entertainment, and ensuring children are not subjected to inappropriate performances or events
- Advocating for stronger laws to protect children from predators, groomers, and child sex trafficking
Protecting Children from Harmful Gender Ideologies
- Supporting legislation to further ban gender-transition procedures for minors, including puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and reassignment surgeries by classifying them as child abuse
- Supporting legislation to prevent anyone from subjecting children to “socially transitioning” and any other psychological practices that promotes the adoption of a gender identity that is inconsistent with their biological sex
- Supporting legislation to rid educational curricula from ideological content that confuses or undermines a child’s understanding of biological realities and personal identity
Promoting Genuine Mental and Physical Health
- Supporting a model of mental health care that recognizes biological and Biblical truth and inherent human dignity
- Promoting programs that address the root cause of gender confusion (most often child abuse, exploitation, and trauma) and help children to receive the healing that comes from embracing their God-given identity, biology, and ability to contribute to our society
- Promoting programs that help children to grow and develop into healthy and self-sufficient citizens
Protecting Children by Strengthening Families
- Promoting policies that encourage adoption, alleviate financial burdens on families, and encourage family formation
- Providing robust support for mothers facing challenging circumstances while choosing life for their unborn child
- Promoting policies to alleviate financial burdens on families, providing two parent household incentives for having children
