Protecting children from sexualization and exploitation
- Advocate for policies that prevent exposing minors to sexually explicit materials in schools, public libraries, and digital platforms
- Strengthen laws to prevent the exploitation of children in media, entertainment, and public events
- Enact tougher criminal penalties for child predators, traffickers, and those who participate in grooming or exploitation
- Ensure mandatory reporting systems are enforced and strengthened so no report of abuse is ignored or dismissed
- Increase sentencing minimums and eliminate loopholes that allow repeat offenders to reenter society and harm children
Protecting Children from Harmful Ideological Influence
- Support legislation that prohibits irreversible medical interventions on minors that alter their biological development
- Prevent psychological or institutional practices that pressure children to reject their biological identity
- Ensure school curricula are grounded in biological reality and free from ideological content that undermines child development
- Affirm the rights of parents to guide the upbringing, education, and moral formation of their children
Strengthening Justice for Child Victims
- Increase the statute of limitation so detransitioners in Texas can pursue justice
- Increase criminal penalties for child abuse, sexual assault of a minor, and child trafficking offenses
- Establish enhanced sentencing for repeat offenders and those in positions of trust (teachers, caregivers, officials)
- Expand the use of life sentences or capital punishment for the most severe crimes against children, including murder and aggravated abuse
- Remove statute of limitations for violent crimes against children to ensure justice is never time-barred
- Create stronger oversight and accountability systems to ensure law enforcement and child protective services act decisively in every reported case
Protecting Children by Strengthening Families
- Promote policies that support family formation, marriage, and stable two-parent households
- Expand resources for mothers choosing life and ensure both mother and child are supported before and after birth
- Encourage adoption and foster care reforms that prioritize safe, stable, and loving homes
Defending Children from Exploitative Reproductive Practices
- Oppose commercial surrogacy practices that commodify children and separate them from their biological parents
- Promote policies that recognize a child’s right to know and be raised, when possible, by their biological mother and father
- Prohibit the buying and selling of human embryos, gametes, or children through contractual arrangements
- Strengthen protections against exploitation of women and children in surrogacy agreements, including international trafficking risks
- Encourage ethical alternatives such as adoption that prioritize the dignity and best interests of the child
