Doctor Caught Giving “Transition” Drugs to Minor Attempts to Silence Texas Attorney General

March 11, 2025

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is suing three doctors for prescribing dangerous gender transition drugs to children. Two of these doctors have been prohibited from practicing medicine while litigation is pending.

Attorney General Paxton said, “Texas law forbids doctors from endangering children by prescribing illegal ‘gender transition’ drugs based on radical theories divorced from reality.” Paxton sued these doctors to “enforce the law to the fullest extent” and “to prevent any doctor from providing these dangerous drugs to kids.”

One of the three doctors Paxton is suing, M. Brett Cooper, asked the Collin County court for a gag order to prevent Paxton from publicly discussing the dangers of gender ideology and radical gender activism.

The county court rejected the gag order and Paxton responded, saying, “I will always fight to stop those who seek to mutilate children for the sake of their dangerous gender ideology. It doesn’t matter what the radical extremists do to try and stop me—I will not be silenced.”

In a statement, Paxton claims, “In America, we recognize that there are only two unchangeable genders and that children should be protected.” The Texas Attorney General prioritizes the innocence, safety, and protection of children and is taking bold steps to ensure their well-being.
