A female student attending Bellaire High School in Houston is being groomed for social transitioning by her teachers and the principal. These teachers call her by a male name and male pronouns, and one teacher even crossed out her name on a paper she wrote and changed it to her preferred name instead.
All of this was happening without her parents’ knowledge or consent. Her parents sat down with the school’s teachers, counselors, and principal, explaining that this practice went against their Christian faith and the advice of their daughter’s therapist, but they refused to stop. They planned to continue participating in the girl’s social transition despite her parents’ wishes.
In desperation, the parents reached out to the office of State Representative Steve Toth. He then contacted Greg Abbott on their behalf last week and the Governor responded by saying, “Schools certainly should not promote distorted notions of human biology or push children further into gender dysphoria.”
Representative Toth expressed his gratitude to Governor Abbott by saying, “I am thankful that the Governor has stepped up, he’s gonna open up an investigation of this principal and the teachers involved in this. They should be fired.”
Protecting Texas Children supports Representative Toth and is thankful that the Governor is standing up for children who are being exposed to the “Transgender Cult” in public schools.
Steve Toth continued, “We’ve got to start standing up and speaking up for our daughters. It’s a crazy day in which we live.” Texas lawmakers are working hard to end the social transitioning of minors in public schools.
