De-transitioner Chloe Cole Testifies in Austin in favor of HB 778

“Would you rather have a dead daughter or a living transgender son?” This is the question that has coerced parents all over America to inflict irreparable harm on their children. Chloe Cole is one such case, and she bravely testified in Austin last week in favor of Texas HB 778, which would require insurance companies to cover gender transition adverse effects and reversals for victims like Chloe, who were lied to and manipulated by trusted medical experts.

At age 12, Chloe decided that she did not want to be a girl, and by 13, she came out to her parents as “transgender.” Later that year, she began irreversible puberty blockers and was prescribed testosterone. At 15, she underwent a double mastectomy. At 16 years old, she realized she had made a mistake.

Chloe says that she mistook the confusing feelings associated with puberty as gender dysphoria and shared this heartbreaking statement, “Because my body didn’t match beauty ideals, I started to wonder if there was something wrong with me. I thought I wasn’t pretty enough to be a girl, so I’d be better off as a boy. Deep inside, I wanted to be pretty all along, but that’s something I kept suppressed.”

This is why PTC is fighting for bills like HB 778. We support the many victims of trans ideology who require health care to repair the damage done to their bodies and minds by medical “professionals” who approved and encouraged horrific, life-altering surgeries and medications.
