Advocating for Texas Children’s Rights, Unveiling Planned Parenthood’s Harm to Minors, and Fighting Social Media Censorship

A Busy Week in Austin for PTC

Protecting Texas Children President Vanessa Sivadge has been in Austin testifying on behalf of legislation that aims to protect children and families and defend religious freedom.

She testified in favor of SB 33 in the Texas House, which would close loopholes that have allowed Texas cities to use taxpayer dollars to fund abortion expenses indirectly. Some cities pay for the transportation and lodging of women seeking abortions in places where it is legal, funneling taxpayer dollars towards “abortion tourism.”

Texas law should reflect our moral duty to protect the most vulnerable among us. During her testimony, Vanessa said, “The unborn have no voice, no vote, and no platform, but we do, and it is our responsibility to speak and act on their behalf.” This bill has passed favorably out of the House committee.

She also testified in favor of SB 11, which prevents schools and the government from suppressing religion. Critics claim this legislation blurs the line between church and state. What this legislation actually does is protect the liberty of every student to seek spiritual guidance if they choose.

In testimony, Vanessa said, “For many Texas families, spiritual development is just as vital as academic growth, and this bill recognizes that truth.” This bill passed favorably out of the House committee.

She provided testimony for HB 1655, which addresses the growing concern about social transitioning practices among minors in public schools. This legislation will end the deceptive practice of psychologically grooming a child to hate the body in which they were born.

Vanessa said, “HB 1655 seeks to protect children by prohibiting employees and contractors in public schools from promoting, facilitating, or affirming a child’s social transition.” This bill has passed out of committee and has been sent to calendars, where it is waiting to be heard on the House floor, but time is running out. The last day for House Bills to be heard on second reading is Thursday, May 15. If HB 1655 doesn’t make it to the second reading by then, the bill is dead, and Texas kids will still risk being subjected to manipulative social transitioning, which is just the first step in the transition process.

Planned Parenthood Exposed for Intent to Provide Gender Transition Drugs to Minors

Live Action, the famous human rights nonprofit and the digital leader of the global pro-life movement, has exposed Planned Parenthood for its intent to provide gender transition drugs to minors.

Undercover callers recorded phone conversations with Planned Parenthood employees who assured the callers that they would be able to receive gender transition drugs, including testosterone. Callers claimed to be as young as sixteen and requested that their parents not be present during the examination. The callers were assured that they could receive the drugs without parental consent, within the same day, even virtually. They were also told that no therapy, mental health assessment, or medical records would be necessary.

The callers spoke with Planned Parenthood facilities that serve New York, Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

Live Action founder, Lila Rose, released this statement: “Our undercover reporting has exposed a chilling reality: Planned Parenthood is fast-tracking vulnerable children into irreversible hormone treatments with almost no medical oversight. These dangerous drugs can sterilize, stunt growth, and leave lifelong scars. This is not healthcare. It is child abuse, and it must be stopped.”

Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion chain in the nation and murders 400,000 people a year. That’s 400,000 innocent babies who cannot defend themselves. These babies’ lives are violently and abruptly ended before they ever take their first breath.

The worst part is, American taxpayers are forced to fund it. Planned Parenthood receives more than $700 million of our money. This is disgraceful, and PTC is working hard to stop it.

TikTok Removes Vanessa Sivadge’s Interview, Claiming “Misinformation”

Transition Justice, an organization connecting victims of gender transition with legal assistance, shared how PTC President Vanessa Sivadge spoke about her experience as a Texas Children’s Hospital whistleblower on Allie Beth Stuckey’s podcast “Relatable.” Transition Justice was discouraged because the interview was removed from TikTok.

The video was removed because the platform claimed it contained misinformation and violated community guidelines. However, influencers with opposing viewpoints, like Sidhbh Gallagher, a gender surgeon with multiple serious allegations against her, are allowed to keep posting content.

The truth is, Texas Children’s Hospital did break the law by committing Medicaid fraud. Social media platforms are censoring the truth. Protecting Texas Children is committed to defending the defenseless by speaking up, standing firm, and fighting for policies that prioritize the physical, emotional, and psychological health of Texas children.

We will not be deterred, and we will not be silenced by the media, which is pushing an agenda that harms vulnerable children. This media censorship highlights the importance of our mission, to safeguard the innocence and well-being of every child by standing firmly for biological truth and advocating for policies that put children first.

Protecting Texas Children is thankful to Transition Justice for their courage in amplifying PTC’s mission and voice.
