New studies reveal that the health risks for males who take estrogen are very high, raising the risk of death by as much as 80 percent. As the number of minors receiving these dangerous hormones continues to grow, extensive studies have been conducted to determine the effects these treatments can have.
With increased scrutiny on these treatments, there is an urgent need to safeguard clinical, scientific, and ethical standards. Effects from taking estrogen can permanently harm an individual, leading to acute cardiovascular events, blood clots, strokes, and cancer. It can also lead to brain damage and changes in the brain, causing negative impacts on cognition and mood, leading to adverse effects like depression. Infertility is another, more well-established adverse effect of these treatments.
These irreversible treatments mutilate children who are not yet old enough to provide their consent. Doctors who swore to “first do no harm” are administering treatments to our precious children that could kill them, cause them untold pain and suffering, and ruin their minds.
The fact that this barbaric practice is legal and encouraged in this country is horrifying. Protecting Texas Children fights every day to keep our children away from this. We are safeguarding the innocence of every child, the most precious and vulnerable among us, by affirming biological truth, eliminating gender dysphoria, and harmful gender transition treatments.
Doctors will argue that these treatments will save children’s lives and prevent them from committing suicide. But the treatments themselves threaten lives. PTC works hard to end these treatments so that children can grow up happy, healthy, and safe, able to fulfill their God-given potential.
The FBI rescued 109 children in Texas from online child sexual exploitation and arrested 244 offenders. This operation marked one of the largest coordinated crackdowns on digital child exploitation in Texas history, with more than 70 law enforcement agencies working together.
These agencies collaborated to identify and apprehend individuals who were producing, distributing, or possessing child sexual abuse material. FBI Dallas Special Agent in Charge R. Joseph Rothrock commented on the operation, stating, “It was not an easy operation, but a necessary one.” The FBI affirmed its commitment to protecting children in our communities and bringing those who harm them to justice.
The Dallas Police Department reflected on the outcome of this collaboration with the FBI and other law enforcement partners. They viewed the results as a powerful example of what can be achieved when agencies unite to defend the innocence and safety of children across Texas.
The evidence seized during the operation is still under forensic review. Authorities anticipate additional arrests as they continue to identify both victims and offenders. The fight against digital child sexual exploitation is far from over.
This operation demonstrates that law enforcement in Texas is making the protection of children a top priority. Protecting Texas Children is proud to support and stand alongside those who work tirelessly to restore safety and innocence to the next generation.
