Protecting Privacy, Children, and Truth: Urgent Calls for Action in Texas

The Texas Legislature Must Prioritize the Women’s Privacy Act

There are dozens of stories of young women and girls discussing their discomfort as they were forced to undress in front of grown men. You’ve heard stories about women standing in private locker rooms or bathrooms and seeing grown men walk by completely naked. This strips women of their privacy, their security, and their dignity.

During the 89th regular legislative session, we fought hard for the Women’s Privacy Act. Unfortunately, it failed. However, the governor has put it on the special session agenda, so we have another chance to pass this bill.

We need to make it clear to our lawmakers that girls should not have to share private spaces with men. This is not about politics or trans rights. It’s about safety and fairness. Women are being threatened, and we need our lawmakers to protect them by passing the Women’s Privacy Act during this session.

Please sign the petition below to send a message to our legislators that women need protection. Let them know that those who voted for them support the Texas Women’s Privacy Act.

Do You Think Your Children are Safe When They Read?

Some state representatives have argued that parents should never worry about their children when they are reading books. State Representative Erin Zwiener (D-Driftwood) argues against banning inappropriate books in public children’s spaces.

During a debate on the House floor, she said, “I worry about my kid a lot, but one time I never worry about her is when she’s reading.” Protecting Texas Children’s Behind the Shelves project has compiled a long list of hundreds of books depicting perverse, vulgar, harmful, and sexually explicit content, all found in public and school libraries, targeting children.

Listen to Bonnie Wallace, the champion for challenging inappropriate books, read an excerpt from one of these books. Right now, these books are available for children to stumble upon in libraries. Viewer discretion is advised:

Do you think this material is harmful to young children? My ears can barely handle listening to these words. Imagine their effect on impressionable and developing young minds. Behind the Shelves is a project created to expose the truth, empower parents, and hold school boards accountable. Will you join us?

Dr. Haim Speaks on a Panel for the FTC on Illegal Transgender Procedures on Minors

Dr. Eithan Haim spoke on a panel hosted by the Federal Trade Commission about the real consequences for medical professionals who break the unspoken code of silence. After blowing the whistle on Texas Children’s Hospital for lying about the existence of their transgender program, he explains how he witnessed firsthand the deception in the medical industry.

No other doctor spoke out about the illegal activity in the hospital and the harm being done to children, because they knew they would be attacked in the most vicious way possible.

Dr. Haim was charged with felonies and faced up to a decade in prison for a crime that the Biden Department of Justice could not even define. For speaking up, he was accused of things he did not do, and it almost destroyed his career and his entire life.

Dr. Haim was targeted by the most powerful federal leviathan in human history. The DOJ used HIPAA as a basis for the indictment against him. The worst part, as Dr. Haim explains, was that “the victims, they said, were the hospital and the doctors, not the patients.”

Protecting Texas Children is thankful for Dr. Haim and for his bravery in being one of the only doctors to speak up in defense of children at great personal cost. We are grateful he was willing to break the unspoken code of silence to protect Texas children.
