Chapter Responsibilities
- Visit local school and public libraries and monitor materials accessible to children
- Help identify and document age-inappropriate or sexually explicit content
- Learn review and challenge processes
- Attend school board and library board meetings when issues arise
- Raise awareness and encourage constructive community engagement
PTC Provides
- Advocacy and leadership training
- Book review and documentation resources
- Parent education materials and toolkits
- Guidance for engaging school boards and library systems
- Access to a statewide network of chapter leaders and advocates
- Strategic updates, resources, and campaign opportunities
