If the Texas House passes HB 2258, Texas may finally receive legislation that will protect children from agendas aimed at injuring their minds and bodies. PTC is at the Capitol pushing for HB 2258, legislation filed with the intent to protect minors.

Drag queen story hours in libraries are not for educating; they are for indoctrination. Legislation that will end taxpayer-funded drag performances in public libraries was introduced to the Texas Senate, and citizens testified with their thoughts on the legislation. Among them was PTC President Vanessa Sivadge.

A Dallas church sponsored an event that included death threats and sexual performances from drag queens following their church service led by a youth minister/“drag king” celebrating drag as an art form.

Legislation is filed in the Texas Senate to protect the innocence of children in public schools. Despite existing legislation, inappropriate materials are still in school libraries and accessible to children. New legislation was presented that will hold schools accountable for the materials they approve for their libraries and give parents control over what their children are able to read.

Female athletes want school choice. Allowing boys to play in girls’ sports is not fair. Famous female athlete Riley Gaines, a swimmer forced to compete with men in athletic competitions, shows her support for school choice alongside Protecting Texas Children.
